Jeremy Corbyn enjoyed the delights of London’s world-famous carnival this year before his big day on Saturday the 12th

Yes. Jeremy Corbyn was at Notting Hill Carnival this year.

What a number of supporters!

Many supporters crowded around Jeremy asking for selfies. I’ve spoken to supporters who said they were pleased to see Jeremy ‘get out and speak to people young and old across the country about what it is they want’.

A DJ gave a shout out to Jeremy on the mic ‘Big Up Mr Corbyn!’, to which he gave a little speech to.

People’s views on Jeremy on the day:

‘He’s cut through this political bubble, and has shown that he is just like everybody else. His political career has been about being a community activist, it’s a way of saying, I’m going to be a leader who champions the community, and I think he’ll be a great voice for the community’.

‘Jeremy was a huge support when it came to the cuts, he was supportive of staff as well as students which shows he is a diverse candidate’ – a student.

‘Jeremy is good with ordinary people’.

‘Vote Jeremy!’ This lady was shouting.
