The fashion industry is hitting the streets of London mid-February. From classic high-end designers such as Jasper Conran and Julien Macdonald, to new up-and-coming artists like Sharon Wauchob and Richard Malone, London Fashion Week has it all. Here’s a list of events and must do’s to make your Fashion Week the best one yet.

  1. Catwalks

You have your pick of catwalk experiences. Depending on what you enjoy, you can choose to attend Catwalk Trend, where you’ll be able to see all the new fashion statements before anyone else, or Catwalk Designer, where you’ll experience the life of a high-end fashion stylist. You can’t go wrong because either you’re buying new trends off the runway, or you’re sitting with fashion editors, and stylists, seeing the new collections of London’s best designers.

  1. Shopping

Shopping is always a must during this event. Over a hundred vendors will be at London Fashion Week this year with insider prices. With reasonable budgets and an array of styles, shopping during the festival is the perfect way to add some flare to your spring and summer wardrobe.

  1. London Fashion Week Festival Talks

Throughout the week, there will be different panel discussions where you can ask designers and fashion experts your questions. Learn what it means to have a fashion career, or be able to see Princess Diana’s wardrobe at Diana: Her Fashion Story. You can sign up for these talks when you buy your fashion week tickets.

  1. Showrooms

Over a hundred designers will showcase their new spring and summer collections for the public and the international fashion industry. Showrooms will highlight new collections from the hottest spring and summer accessories, including shoes and handbags. You’ll also be treated to ready-to-wear fashion from designers like Robert Wun and Caine London. The times for the showrooms are found on London Fashion Week’s website, and vary depending on the day.

  1. Designers

Some of the most influential fashion designers will be shown during Fashion Week, such as Molly Goddard and Alice Archer, but there will also be many up-and-coming designers presenting their clothing lines for the first time. Two designers not to be missed are Michael Halpern and Richard Malone. Both were on the ‘One’s to Watch’ list and will be debuting their creations for the very first time during Fashion Week.
