If you ignore that, not only are you letting your business down but you’re going to end up leaving your employees feeling frustrated and ignored, which is always going to have a serious negative impact on their motivation and productivity.
Show your appreciation
The truth is that employees simply don’t want to feel like just another cog in the machine. They’re the ones putting huge amounts of time and energy into making your business the best it can be and it’s important that you show them just how much you appreciate that fact. From highlighting great work to offering employee perks, showing how much your employees’ hard work means to you, is a great way to not only provide them with a greater sense of job satisfaction but also to give them an extra incentive to do their best work no matter what.
Be flexible
The reality for a lot of modern employees is that they have a great deal more going on in their lives than just work. If you try and force your employees to make work their only priority, you’re going to end up exhausting them and bring the quality of everyone’s work down. The key is to make sure that you provide your employees with a degree of flexibility in terms of where and when they work.
