Our project aimed to solve the problem of young people’s lack of resilience to extremist rhetoric and malicious disinformation, both offline and online on social media and gaming platforms, extremist forums, and in biased news outlets. It also addressed the issue of lack of media literacy and online safety practical skills amongst young people, most commonly in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), academies and amongst students Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEETs). The project took place in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
