My name is Bill Hodgkinson and I’m a mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh, who is extremely interested in policy-making. I’ve written for Shout Out UK a few times, but primarily I’m the Opinion Editor at The Student (Edinburgh’s student newspaper). I also organise and host Roundtable discussions for a society at the university, on Chinese current affairs. This has allowed me to meet some interesting individuals, ranging from professors to journalists. I’m really excited about this opportunity to meet like-minded, young individuals who are determined to change society for the better.
