Project Outcomes:
The percentage of teachers who “agreed” or “strongly agreed” with the statement “I know what steps to take to verify a source” increased to 72% once the programme ended. Prior to the programme starting, this proportion was 21% of all participants.
The number of teachers who “agreed” or “strongly agreed” with the statement “I understand how deepfakes can damage our understanding of the media” increased to 100% after the programme ended. Prior to the programme starting, this number was 24%.
The proportion of young people who either “agreed” or “strongly agreed” with the statement “I am aware of the use of disinformation online by the far right” increased to 75% after the programme ended. Prior to the programme starting, this number was 17.64%.
